Claire’s Cuttings is a small florist business that offers a range of workshops that include; fresh and faux wreath making, floral crafting, flower arrangements, bouquet building workshops and dried flower workshops.

I offer a range of tutorials, workshops demonstrations and talks. My area of creativity is in wet and needle felting, my classes are usually completed within half / full day with all materials and equipment provided. I have workshop space at Midtown Makers Ballymena but I can travel to you.

I hold pottery wheel and handbuilding workshops in my studio for individuals or groups.
I can also visit groups for handbuilding with coils or slabs of clay.
My workshops are very relaxed. Absolute beginners are very welcome.

I can show how I start the sketchwork of a plant, detailing the shapes and shadows then start to add the watercolour paint building up layers of tones. I can provide this as group or one-on-one demonstrations

I am a retired Local Govt. Officer, Tour Guide and Library Assistant. Public speaking has been my main role for my entire career. I recently completed OCN NI Level 2 Oral Skills Unit Storytelling qualification to learn a new skill in standalone story telling to enhance my current Storytime role.

We work with clients on all photography, videography and social media management as well as provide group photography accredited courses.

I attend Workshops with a large selection of bears and everyone gets to choose their favourite to hand stuff, add their Wish Star and complete their new cuddly friend’s Birth Certificate - absolutely no sewing involved.
