What have we been doing now that we can't operate markets?

It's going to be a tough few months, for everyone, worldwide. Currently we cannot operate markets, but many of our makers, producers, growers, artists, crafters are still working safety from home.

Thanks to the help of many volunteers we've put together our online marketplace, which will help promote those that are still operating and offering delivery/collection. You can see the online market place HERE

Behind the scenes we've been keeping traders updated on what help and support is available and staying in touch and supporting as much as we can. We will keep reviewing the situation as time passes and will try our best to support our traders through this period until we can restart our markets.

We work with many micro businesses that have fallen through most of the support nets which have been put in place, and we know the next few months will be tough for them all, with a wide range of new challenges, as it will be for many others.

We've also been busy helping the Ballycastle Community Development Group develop an online community Covid-19 hub, with useful information for our local community in Ballycastle during these difficult times. You can see the online hub HERE
